“I have a IOGear wireless HD1080p.Best Buy sold it to me For porch TV. I understood I would be able to chg chls/use DVR like on wall mounted TV using same IOGear in hs. But I have to go to office to chg chl! No features? Tired of running. Want FF.Help!”

IOGEAR says : There is an IR blast cable that must be connected to the transmitter. This cable has 3 IR sensors. Find the location of the IR sensor in your cable box . Once found stick one of the 3 sensors directly over this sensor. THIS MUST BE DIRECTLY OVER THE SENSOR. Now you should be able to use the cable remote pointed directly at the front of the GW3DHDKIT receiver. If it still does not work try changing the IR frequency. The GW3DHDKIT has 3 built in frequencies. As long as you cable box is 56KHZ or lower this should work. If you are still having issues call IOGEAR support at 866-946-4327 .
