• could be one of the cables have a bad connection. otherwise, the units practically need line of sight positioning in order to get a strong enough signal between transmitter and receiver. i was not particularly impressed with the performance of this unit. suffered with one for 4 years before it died. bought an actiontec unit instead and it worked 100% better.

• reset one or all of devices for proper hdmi handshake.....if still no, check audio settings on devices for proper settings
