• Yes it can play without being plugged in, it's a rechargeable battery. Yes there is a radio feature and it can play music via a USB connector.

• Yes the Ion Audio Power Glow 300 can be used on Battery power. Yes it does include a radio, and also allows the ability to play music from a USB drive, SD card, a Bluetooth device or AUX input (1/8", 1/4" or RCA).
