• I believe so the mic isn't permanently attached it just has a plug in jack so I'm sure any mic would suffice

• It takes any standard size mic. It has a larger connector like for better mics and equipment. The line in is the smaller jack though. I don't have the exact length but the cord is at least 7 or 8 feet long.
