• I wouldn't think so. It has rubber covers for all the ports and it's designed to be outside.

• Hi! Happy to help! The Sport XL is IPX5 certified which means it can withstand some rain and other outdoor elements. in general though, try to avoid leaving it exposed to weather for long periods of time for the best results.
