+ Looks cool.
+ Gets very loud: we very rarely turn it above 50%.
+ Versatile - you can take it everywhere: using it by the pool, hooked up to our TV which really needs a soundbar, hooked up to my laptop. The aux input makes it really easy to set up.
+ Charges my phone.
+ Runs for a couple of days of moderate use on a single charge: I've never gotten all the way down to zero (Don't think you're supposed to with this type of battery).
- Bluetooth connection to my iphone 8 doesn't always work first try; I have to "Forget this device" and then it almost always comes back.
- Volume is noticeably inconsistent depending on input: a weak input volume signal means sometimes you can't get loud even if you turn it all the way up.
- 5V 1A phone charging means it is a slow charge but it's enough to keep the phone going while we play music by the pool.
I haven't had to replace the battery yet but pics online suggest they're about the size of a brick, easily connect via two wire leads that screw into terminals, and cost less than $30. If you've ever had to connect the battery that came with a UPS for your computer? It looks just like that in the picture.

Very loud, Bluetooth works easily, mic with separate volume works good. The unit has an excellent battery life, and recharging is simple just connect the cord to standard outlet. The mobility is a huge plus , the wheels are small but roll well and the handle makes pulling it a breeze. We live in a neighborhood where our neighbors are close and I can’t have the volume at max it’s too loud.
Cons - Bass at upper range of volume causes sound to distort. Unit has a bass bost button that works well, but the bass can become more than unit can handle. But if your looking for something with great bass. I wouldn’t recommend this , I also have a Beats pill and the Tailgater XL Is way louder. But the Pills overall sound is better but lacks volume.

Got the sport xl for a party I hosted and needed something that had a microphone jack. It wasn't my first choice, being that it was in stock and the party was nearing the start time, I grabbed it, while also thinking of returning it after the party and getting a different brand.
Needless to say, I loved it.
Nfc connect made it easy to setup, bluetooth connected easily, Battery hasn't been charged in a month, after 2 parties with high volume usage, and casual use at lower volume every few days on the back patio. The battery is 50% and I'm amazed. The handle and wheels make transporting easy and your drunk friends can spill beer on it since it's waterproof. The sound quality is not highend but the price is not either. Has great bass and full sound for any music type. The mic is ok, nothing fancy and it works, I think I'm going to upgrade the mic to something wireless.
Great, durable house party speaker that's easy to use.

This speaker has great sound and the battery lasts forever! We use it at baseball games to get the kids pumped up. Love having the extendable handle and wheels so you can move it around like a suitcase. We had an issue with Bluetooth staying connected on the first one we bought. Best Buy customer service was excellent and allowed us to exchange it for another one with no questions asked. New one works great and stays connected!

This hitter has full sound that rocks the open air. Used primarily on our tour for a PA system, it often converts into a mood setting machine and thumps a variety of rock n roll hall of famers.
It delivers long lasting battery life, all things considered, it is highly mobile, has an easy to use PA-microphone system and can crank up to stir up the motivation. If the sound was a bit clearer and had the ability to dial in the hertz....it would be perfect. As is, it still shakes things up, I mean, it's less than $200 and sounds like its $400.

I bought this for my adult son for his birthday. He's getting married this fall and wanted a speaker that could be used for his reception, and other celebratory events and gatherings. He LOVES it! It has 75 hours of charge time - uh, that could a Woodstock event! It's very portable and has good sound and a sleek look. The included microphone is a huge bonus! In his words, it was the best birthday gift he received. :D

All my friends love it. Way louder than I need if you crank it up, but perfect for the deck. Bass boost is really nice. And 75 hour charge!! Only charged it once this summer so far and used it for several hours over 4 weekends so far. Easy to move around too.

Was looking for new jobsite radio (most are junk), ran across this unit in BB store... Took a gamble, bought it. Has built in SLA battery, so can be portable if no AC power available. Not sure how dust & moisture resistant it really is, nor do I intend to find out... but has concealed input jacks (Mic, & 1/8" stereo mini jack), and detachable AC power cord (in back, with sealing plug to cover the jack when not in use).
Unit has Blue Tooth capability. It works, although range is very limited.... not the usual 10 meters (33 ft) or so pretty much standard on most devices. I tried multiple BT devices.. none would connect or stay connected reliably further than about 3 meters (10 ft) away. So, I use the 1/8" stereo input most often.. better sound quality anyway. Sound quality is not bad, although not great. It's high-midrange dominant with a very pronounced boominess in the bass region. Appears to be polypropylene woofer, which explains the midrange-boominess. Haven't opened the unit yet, but from the sound, suspect there is little to no damping material in the ported cabinet. The specs claim this unit has a 100w amplifier... no other references are cited for that claim, so who knows how the manufacturer arrived at that number. There is no way this unit produces 100W of clean continuous power at any reasonable THD level... Doubt it even produces that under peak output... more like 50W peak, 25W continuous would be more reasonable. But, the FTC no longer checks on electronics manufacturer claims, so anything goes these days. Sounds is loud enough for most conditions, and reasonable distortion levels for normal listening... though it does go into clearly audible clipping when pushed. I've heard worse, and this isn't bad overall... just not as good as a decent older boombox, or even low end stereo equipment. Even my Bosch jobsite radio will run circles around this as to sound quality, but not really an apples to apples comparison.
This unit will run several hours on the internal battery, at low to mid level volume... but even at lowest volume, it runs down after 3-4 hrs... far short of the OEM claims. But, it's about what I'd expect. To get the claimed all day play on battery power, it would need a much larger (and HEAVY) sealed lead acid battery (SLA). It would be nice to have DC input to power directly from another battery or vehicle, but not a big deal. I have power on my jobsites, and inverter power on my trucks, so can always plug in the AC if needed.
Biggest disappointment and source of confusion is the AM/FM radio... it's totally useless!! There is no antenna, or connection for one... FM uses the AC cord for a dipole antenna, same as some clock radios, under cabinet radios, or some portable radios. It's an extremely poor choice for antenna.. The FM tuner picks up so much RF noise from the internal power supply and display board that listening to the radio is nearly impossible. Without the AC cord plugged in, reception is zero on FM. AM reception is intolerable due to self generated internal RF noise. Not sure why the OEM even bothered to include a radio as poor as this. Would have preferred they spent the money wasted on the radio on better speakers and sound damping material.
Overall, the unit is pretty rugged, sound isn't bad... but the limited range blue tooth and useless AM/FM radio make this model less than ideal... there are better units out there. Had this one a few weeks.. will see how long it holds up. I can only recommend this unit with certain constraints listed here.

I found this product met my expectations. I like the rugged design and the weatherproofing feature as well as the carry on style wheels and telescoping handle. I wish only that it had a remote control and it would have gotten all 5 stars. I currently have it connected to my 70 inch Sony 4 k TV and It works well plugged in as a speaker out. The microphone feature works in parallel with any other input sound and that makes it very cool for Karaoke. I also use it with a cordless microphone which means no worries with tripping over the corded microphone it comes with. There is zero delay on a full battery charge. I upgraded from the expensive Bose desktop personal speaker because of its form and function, and power.I would buy this again.
