• You don't have to use the charging feature of the mount. In your case, don't use the charging feature and plug in to CarPlay and you will be just fine. The mount has a space for when the phone is in place the cable can easily be guided through. Half the time I don't have the charging feature even set up to the mount.

• No, it will just fast charge ur phone like any single fast charging cable.

• just un plug the charger if you don't want it to charge, but I love my charger.
