• Yes. There is a small lever that expands the part of the mount that’s inserted into the slot. Flipping the lever in the opposite direction releases the phone mount. However, I can’t say how many times the phone mount can be installed and removed before it begins to wear out. I’ve only owned it a few days.

• Hi there, It's fairly easy to remove the bracket. All you have to do is open the locking lever, and the bracket will slide right out.
