Have the same type of tile as you described along with smooth tile. It seams to do fine with both types of tile. We have only had the mopping Roomba about a month and I was pleased that it handled both types well in our household. It was a time consuming to try the robot of house layout but its getting the hang of it. We had the vacuum Roomba for about 6 months and love it. We have two Golden Retrievers and have a lot of hair. Love both Roombas

I mainly use it on a hardwood floor but the kitchen is limestone. It works s great and is mesmerizing to watch. we have two big dogs and the first time we ran it got 90% of there foot pints up it was really dirty we live in the country. Second time pretty much spotless. I got my parents one for them marble same result great.
