“Is the dry mode a vacuum or is it more of a duster due to the pad. Also how does it do with blowing debri around. I know my old vacuum had a issue similar because the exhaust vent was at the bottom so it would blow animal hair or fine material away”

The dry mop is a duster pad. It works, but would not recommend as a replacement for your vacuum.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This is a mopping and sweeping robot (versus a vacuuming one) so there's no suction in play. In dry mode, the cleaning pad will pick up dust, small debris and hair or fur. In wet mode, it will also clean with water and/or the cleaning solution.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The dry mode is just an absorbent pad that allows the my to soak up damp water and dirt, it has no suction what so ever, you can use the dry mode if the preceding wet cleaning mode has left too much water on the surface.
