It doesn't use the camera for this, but it will be fine. The Mop moves forward to determine that there are no obstructions (couch, power strip, etc.) then backs up and sprays the clear area. It only sprays after it has gone over a clear surface

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I haven’t had any issues with it not seeing carpet or furniture. It backs up when it senses something before spraying.
