• Water, cold or warm water. You fill the removable water container inside the Braava.

• It just uses water. I use distilled in it since I have really hard water.

• You use just water but it does come with a solution from kind of a floor cleaning solution that you put one cap in and then fill the rest of the tank up with plain water. Probably distilled water would be better because of the mineral content
