Absolutely! Jet, to save battery life, etc. takes the longest path of the room. Less turning. Go back to your maps, add the dividers in each room necessary, in such a way as to insure the length is going in the direction you net the Jet to mop. I’ve divided my kitchen in 4. I tried half but the jet still went in the wrong/same direction. Might have gotten away with 3 but I just added another divider to each half. Now my kitchen has 4 ‘rooms’. Named them kitchen 1, 2, 3, and 4. Had them named K. Right and Left but as I said… The Jet now starts the mopping in the correct direction. With the grain of the wood. As you can see, I had to do the same for the dining room. The length at kitchen right 2’ where it is longer than the rest is because thats a high traffic area that should be mopped with the kitchen. The dining room not as often. I hope this was helpful

New flooring and braava 6 pictured below. Heavy wood grain and setting up multiple room dividers to force it to see those as the long path made it follow the grain. Worked perfectly in 2 rooms so far.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.There is NO way to change the direction of this mop. If it is going diagonally in your house, moving it will not correct that. Neither will chopping up your map or removing and replacing the battery. The navigation on this system is very flawed. Honestly, I would be embarrassed to try to pass off a product that is so bad.
