I understand you can use another cleaner, I imagine they tell you to use their brand to continue sponsoring them. but I have used another brand and it has worked very well, it has never given me a problem. I always use it with hot water that helps dilute the cleaner better.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes you can, but I would assume if something goes wrong, you’d void the warranty. We own a Bissell Spinwave and their multi-surface formula is cheaper and the bottle is double-the-size of the IRobot solution, not to mention more easily found In stores. It works excellent with our M6 and the floors smell fresh after a cleaning. While I still use the IRobot solution, I find the Bissel formula to be an outstanding cheaper alternative.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You could also use just plain water. We ordered a few extra bottles of the cleaner directly from iRobot and they are a lot bigger then the sample size that came with the Bravaa jet. It was the same $7.99 price, but we are still only half way through our first bottle after half a dozen refills.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I use vinegar and distilled water for my tile floors. Cleans great with no streaks and my Brava jet m6 works with no issues.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The solution is recommended both as the best option for the robot and the best option for your floors. For what it's worth, it really doesn't take much solution in the water to get results. You can also clean with water only, and the pads will do quite a bit of the work.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I use only water and it does fine.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I mean you can use others but its on your own risk, i prefer to use it because it’s a 500$ robot and have delicate parts. I know iRobot just recommend to use the special floor cleaner and maybe there is another reason
