Hello Marty, The Roomba 105 utilizes full bin sensors to detect when the dust bin is full and needs to be emptied. These sensors are located within the robot's dust bin compartment and detect the presence of debris. If the sensors detect a full bin, a red indicator light will illuminate or blink, and the robot will pause its cleaning cycle. To resolve this, the dust bin should be emptied and the full bin sensors and their corresponding ports should be thoroughly cleaned. Please check out the following article which contains all the care and maintenance procedures for your robot - https://homesupport.irobot.com/s/article/10504
