The vacuum has 3 buttons, 1- Spot 2- Clean (also power) 3- Dock The vacuum works this way, model 675 when you press clean it starts doing _random_ movement around the house cleaning the house, after 60 minutes (there is no way to change this) it will start flashing the dock led and it will try to return to the base/charger. It will do that with the same random movements, it does not appears to memorize anything in your house. Once it get close to the dock (aprox 1ft) it is smart enough to self orientate and auto dock in the right position If you remember those battery car toys that we had in the 90s that once started they move on a random direction and once they hit a wall or an object they go backwards for a small distance, then turn in a random direction and continue in that way until finding another obstacle?? Well that is your vacuum more less, but a little bit smarter..
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. All they would need to do is push the start button and it will return itself to the home base when completed.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes there's a button that says clean in center. It doesn't always go back and dock itself when finished. Sometimes it runs out of battery. I have to go find it. Sometimes it's under bad so that would be bad for an elderly person. I think like 25 to 30% of the time it will find the dock station and recharge itself..
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It goes back to the charger automatically when the battery gets low. We have had ours for a year and have loved it! We set it every day at 2 AM so we have it all done when we wake up. You should empty the filter pan out every day or so esp. if there are pets. Occasionally the roomba gets stuck on a piece of furniture or under the dishwasher but it is rare. It just shuts itself off if it does. It gets into the corners and goes around chair legs. Cool to watch it line itself up to get back to the home base charger. Amazing product.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can press the dock button and it will return to the charger.
