• We have a number of carpets fron central asia with long fringe and it has yet to get tangled. This 675 does better then our old 900 series on fringe

• Some of that depends on the size of the tassles and the weight of the area rug. All Roombas have anti-tangle technology, so the Roomba will either back up and reverse or drive over and ignore the tassles.
