My house is much, much fresher every day because of Roomba. I have a German Shepherd and a long-haired cat that both shed a ton. The 675 and 690 are the same machine and will work well enough as long as you maintain the brushes constantly. For a more pleasant and less tedious experience, you should consider the Roomba E5, if you can find it available anywhere.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It picks up really well. I have a cat and a bird and equally picks up cat hair and stubborn bird seed . The only down side is that it fills up pretty quickly. So you need to empty the chamber a lot.
