Gail, it absolutely will get stuck. We have hardwood floors with jute rugs and have had to stop using the Roomba downstairs.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If they are fine individual fringes, i would say YES. Would cause the roomba to get tangled in them and shutdown. On hard surfaces, it can get pretty loud. Soft surfaces, not too much. Unless your a VERY light sleeper, you shouldn't be able to hear it between floors.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If the carpet is long it will get caught up but if it’s short it will go over it no problem and at night you will not hear it down stairs but would hear it up stairs
