I think the virtual wall accessory comes with the 690. This helps you keep it away from certain areas or doorways. It works well I’d recommend it

Please try again later.The only difference is the 690 comes with a different color and a little sensor powered by 2x AA batteries that allows you to block off certain areas, like around dog food bowls or of you don't want it to enter a certain room. Other than that they are pretty much identical component wise. I have the 690 and it is life changing. The sensor is very useful for me because I have little ones. The 675 is compatible with them if you want them later on. Hope this helps you. If you have no need for the sensor then just get the 675.
