• I didn't try 2 phones, but it works with both my iPhone & iPad.

• With my Roomba I had to connect each phone to the Roomba by pressing two buttons at once on the device while the app searched for it. Have you done this?

• If multiple devices send requests to the Roomba it would confuse they vacuum. Try installing the app on the family tablet. Or purchase a tablet for the home. On where lighting controls, Roomba, etc. Etc... can be controlled from. With tablet running as low as $39 right now, it's a great time to get a dedicated tablet for the kitchen-family room area.
