it should navigate over the threshold just fine. I have a 1/2 inch transition, and it makes its way over it every time

Yes. My Roomba 960 has no issues going from tile to bare concrete and even likes to fight with a shaggy rug that is about 2 1/2 inches deep.

Our robot seems to navigate these thresholds OK. it can get hung up in chair legs but will eventually work it way out.
