“Will this stop at the top of my steps? Or will it roll down them and break? Do I have to program it some how or buy some kind plug in boundary thing?”

• The Roomba 960 will utilize Cliff Detection Sensors to stop the robot when it approaches your stairs and move it away from that area. You won’t have to worry about any damage to the robot or purchasing any additional barrier walls. The Cliff Detect Sensors are built in to all Roomba models.

• The Roomba will know when it gets to the top of the steps and will turn itself away. If anything, set it to cleaning and see if it does.
