The iRobot Roomba 960 comes with a single virtual wall sensor that creates an invisible barrier the Roomba will not cross (up to 7ft, according to their website). You place this unit in the area you want your Roomba to stop and turn around. You can also purchase additional units to place throughout your house. I have Three so Roomba can do her job without my intervening!

There are additional walls sold separately. Also depending on the model, there may be two (2) walls included.
