For the Roomba 960, there's a Virtual Wall included in the box that allows you to create a virtual "wall" or halo around an area you want your robot to avoid

iRobot provides "Keep Out Zones" in its i7, s9 and m6 robots, where Imprint Mapping is an option

It comes with a device to block off areas either in a circular pattern or linear pattern. So either a small area say around a pets bowl or in a doorway to cut off a whole room
