The Roomba 960 has done a great job on my hardwood floors and ceramic tile. I have 2 dogs and one is long haired German Shepherd that sheds all the time. My Roomba has done a great job keeping the floors clean.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You need one with bristless/tangle-free rollers: 860,960, or 980. The pet hair will get caught in the rollers of any of the other models. Regarding other specs: The 960 is better than the 860 because it will go dock itself, recharge, and complete the job. The 980 is better than the 960 and 860 because it has twice the power on carpet over the 860 and 980. If you have carpet the 980 would be a good choice with the pets. If you have hard floors the 960 would be awesome, because of the info above plus it has better edge cleaning than the 860. I have the 960 and live it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I totally agree, the 960 works great ! So much better than the older models. We had an old one, I think it was 690 or something, and with our 2 long hair ragdoll cats the rollers would get stuck about ever other time we ran it. So far we have not had that problem with the 960. Plus the rollers are much easier to clean.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Any roomba will do just fine
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I love my 960 model. Depending on the floor type with the pets I recommend the 960 or 980. I have mostly hardwood and tile with some carpet, double the floor space with pets and my 960 does a great job! Hope this helps!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Our house is about the same footage for a 4 bedroom 2 bath with 2 cats and 2 dogs as well, and we purchased the Roomba 960 since it has a programmable app and runs for 75 minutes between charging on our laminate floors so highly recommended.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Get the 960. Won’t regret it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would recommend the 960, but any model over 700 should do just fine with pet hair.
