• Yes, I did not get the app. I just set it to work. No problems. I'm guessing the app os more for programing cleaning times, etc.

• Hello Keke, All Roombas can clean their floors and dock themselves without WiFi connectivity. By not having the Roomba connected to WIFI you won’t be able to enjoy certain step-up key features on the iRobot Home App such as access to the mapping capability, the cleaning history of your floors, and cleaning recommendations.

• You can operate it with the buttons on the Roomba. The Internet connection is handy but not required.
