I recently purchased the Roomba 960. I have medium length carpet and 4 pets. The Roomba couldn't pick up most of the pet hair. I would recommend either the i7 or the 980 from my research as they have a more powerful motor.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The 960 model works well but on carpet as you describe I would probably recommend getting the 980 model. It has the extra power just for that purpose. Check reviews on both models first. Hope this helps!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The 960 that we purchased does a very good job on plush carpeting, I am very pleased with the results and I would recommend it. Not sure how thick your carpets are ours are fairly plush and it does and excellent job.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.900 series is pretty good 980 was their best model with 10X succión. Where the 960 i think is 5X. The i7 is the newest model with equal to/or less succión as the 980. It’s marketed to pet owners for its suction and base which helps charge and empty the bin. It’s the one I’m getting for myself. If you’re going with iRobot i would go with the i7 but for the money 960 should be just fine.
