• It will clean any floor as long as there aren't places for it to get stuck.

• I haven't tried it. Our garage would thoroughly confuse the "brainiest" of robots. I'm sure you could set up the wall barriers and it would be fine.

• If there's no oil, water, bolts, I think it will be just fine. You may have to empty the bin more frequently than indoors. The manual says for indoor use only but I do think it would be ok. It's a great vacuum!

• It did our rough basement floor and did ok. I would guess it would do a garage if not oily or greasy.
