• Hello Karem, The Roomba Combo essential does not have a floor detect sensor and will not be able to tell the difference. Please check out the manual for the robot from the following link - https://homesupport.irobot.com/s/article/844 Simply scroll down to the model you want to see, and you will see a setup guide, wifi setup guide more detailed information regarding the model.
