A:AnswerI don't recommend this lower end model for carpet at all. It does ok on rugs that are super tightly weaved, but it does not contain brush rollers , so it really cant pick up the dirt out of a carpet.

A:AnswerThis unit does a very good job on my carpeted areas to sweep up visible debris. Only means I don't have to vacuum as often. I would say it largely depends on what kind of carpet you have.
