• Yes, it will complete its route through your home, then dock itself for charging/dirt bin disposal. Be sure you are selecting the correct bundle, however. The Roomba i3 model can come as a stand-alone item (just vacuum robot), the i3 vacuum with charger dock, OR the i3 vacuum with charger dock which also is an auto-emptying dirt bin. You can also upgrade later to the auto-emptying charger dock.

• Yes! The Roomba i3, like all Roomba robots, will automatically start looking for the infrared signal emitted by the Home Base when the battery power gets low. Once located, Roomba follows the signal and docks itself to the charger.
