s9 has a battery twice the capacity of i7. s9 vacuums better than i7. Hence s9 is noisier than i7. s9 is a little lower or slimmer than i7 under furniture s9 is “D” shaped to help do corners better. s9 is 1lb heavier than i7. Hence s9 is more costly.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. They both clean the same but the dust bin so the Roomba I7 can empty itself is more than worth the additional cost. Especially is you have dogs that shed. I have no hair bunnies anywhere now and my allergies are much better.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The Roomba i7+ offers premium cleaning ability, much like the Roomba S9+, with the addition of the Clean Base automatic dirt disposal as well as Smart Mapping functions. Both models work well for cleaning entire floor levels, and can store up to 10 Smart Maps. Differences are made apparent in the design, as the Roomba S9+ offers sharp corners for cleaning in hard to reach areas of the home. While the Roomba S9+ does offer four times the suction of the i7+, the i7+ still offers some of the best suction in our current robot lineup at ten times the suction when compared to the 600 series.
