yes you will need wifi to run this machince. it will bluetooth to your phone and the updates run through the wifi

Hello BB, Wi-Fi is not needed, as you can simply use the machine by pressing the "Clean" button, and it will map the environment first by doing mapping runs, and you can start a cleaning mission later by using the "Clean" button again. You would be missing on a lot of features, but it is usable without Wi-Fi.
