It's recommended you have at least 1.5 feet on each side of the Clean Base, which should be firmly against the wall. These steps will allow the Roomba to easily exit and return to its base.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.iRobot recommends 1.5 feet on each side, but I think you could have less - when it enters or returns to the base, it goes in a straight line. It may need the space to distinguish between the base and surrounding wall, but I think it's at least worth trying putting the base in a narrower space.
