Yes it does. There is a training mapping mode that you can put it in where it just travels and does not clean to expedite the mapping. Then it finalizes it in the next 5 - 7 cleanings.

Please try again later.Yes, the Roomba will automatically map the layout of your home as it cleans or you can do “training runs” where the Roomba does not clean, but inspects your home. After about 3-5 times either vacuuming or doing training runs (or both), the map will be finalized and then you can use it to tell the Roomba to clean specific rooms instead of the whole house!
