Does it work if you do not have WiFi connection? null

Yes it works, you’ll just have to turn it on by pressing the clean button every run. However you won’t be able to use the smarter features like scheduling, room recognition, keep out zones, clean zones or any other app features. Since your only using it to clean the whole floor offline, I highly recommend you save money and go with the Roomba i3 which does the whole floor as well and it’s less expensive. The features of the i7 can only be appreciated if you have internet.

Initially wifi is must to setup the roomba on a smartphone or anydevice. Once roomba is set up or connected to wifi, you can operate from your app (installed on smartphone or a tablet) from anywhere with out being in the same home or wifi. Wifi is must to keep connected for Roomba to work.
