It could, but so far mine didn't. the rotating brush could pick up the wire (especially if is a small one). Mine are pretty good size wires and after a couple of hiccups the vacuum goes around it. as for other obstacles this thing is pretty darn smart. I've been very happy so far
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It did try and suck up the Christmas tree cords so my husband and I just unplugged the cord and let it vacuum. Really any wires need to be about 3 inches off the floor. When it vacuumed my closet there was a satin belt that it tried to vacuum up and I wasn’t home. It just automatically shut down until I got home to untangle the belt. I have been extremely happy with the vacuum job it has done. Also I had a question about if my vacuum was charging and I called the 1-800 number talk to a live person who helped me, then they called me back in an hour to make sure the problem was resolved! I was very impressed by the level of customer service.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If they are small enough like iPhone chargers....yes
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.no usually if something is in its direct path it will either bump into it then go around the object ,but for smaller object such as a wire or something it will just go over top of it .
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Surprisingly, No. It's successfully traversed every rug, power cord and height difference in my house.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, it did get hung up on a cord laying on the floor. We have concrete floors and a workout mat that interlocks. It is 3/4” thick and it somehow gets up on that and cleans it. Pretty amazed what it can do.
