“i just got my rumba j7. i was looking for a owners/installation manual of some sort, but could not find anything in the box. figured out how to plug it in and the light is on. do i have to wait to fully charge it? how do i get the app to run the robot?”

You have to plug the robot in to charge. Once there is enough juice in the robot the app will be able to discover the robot under the same wifi. Then just follow instructions on app.

Please try again later.Download IRobot from Apple or Android and need to open an account with this app and follow the all the step to get your roomba up, then the first job is mapping your home and you can edit the name of the rooms or place of your home and also set barriers or place where roomba can stuck, after that roomba can do the job you can program, the entire home, or some rooms according to the schedule programmed, roomba automatic go to the base station to charge and discard or empty the trash. It is a very useful device nowadays if you have pet with a lot of hair loss in your home.
