We have the same concern with a 90 year old father. It does not and will come directly up to a person. We simply turn ours on when he is asleep or out of the home. You will need to make sure that it has returned to the base before your mom walks around.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It has a light that comes on once in a while while working. It will not avoid her unless it bumps into her.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It does have light. The best way is to use the schedule and set it for when she is sleeping.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The light is not bright. It does try to avoid hitting things but has to learn so will butt right up to it. You could set the timer for it to clean only when she is in bed, not walking around.
