Is the filter replaceable or disposable null

The filter is disposable. I am still using the original filter after a few months as I take the filter outside and tap it against something hard and the dust trapped in the filter falls out.

Hello Joe, Great question. The s9 filter is not designed to be washed or come in contact with liquid. To clean the filter, simply shake off debris by tapping it against your trash container. You can also purchase item # 4646124.

The filter is cleanable and ultimately replaceable. I have a hairy dog so I take the filter out each time I clean the bin and I bang the filter on the inside of the garbage can - this helps clean out a lot of dirt. Sometimes I wipe the filter with a paper towel. It’s easy to take out clean and then pop back in. I love my iRobot.
