• If your cigarette lighter is on even with the key in the off position it is recommended that it be disconnected to prevent the battery from being depleted.

• That is correct. If the 12 V power supply socket isn't controlled by the ignition key you must unplug it manually every night eventually, it will lose gripping ambition over time
