“Does this work with a car that already has bluetooth but does not have car play? I want to listen to podcasts and audio books. Current car does not have the ability to do so. Thank you!”

This unit will play any audio that is being played on a Bluetooth-connected device, and transmit it to the car radio via FM signal. It does not transmit via Bluetooth.
