• It does have a USB port to play music directly from a USB device. Theoretically it should also work with your CD player connected to that USB port, but I can't promise.

• The USB port and SD card slot will allow audio files to be played thru the transmitter when they are loaded on a thumb drive or SD card, but it will not play audio files from a USB connected CD player.
