QuestionDoes this item have an on/off manual switch so it doesn't drain car battery when not in use and car is off? I see a white button on base near plug for lighter, but it's not identified on the manual printout.

- Answer No, it does not. It has charging ports on the top of the base. However, it will not drain battery power when left attached to the lighter nor will you be able to charge devices unless the vehicle is running.
