Will it drain your battery if left plugged in? null

If your outlet keeps power on after you turn off the key, then yes it will drain your battery!

Using the auxiliary jack it remains on. I just pull it out slightly to unplug every time, just in case

If your accessory outlet in the vehicle stays powered all the time, and does not shut off with the key, leaving the unit plugged in all the time will cause draw on the battery even when the vehicle is off.
