It's a 2 player game only, no computer coop. However you should be able to play online without subscribing to psn which is pretty cool

No this game is and was made intentionally to be played with another person no matter if they are in the same room with you or across the country.  CPU is not an option as far as I know.

The game has levels that require two ppl doing something together quite often, and does not offer an Ai option so u can play alone. You can play locally with a friend or online with a friend though.
