Will the top open if a dog knocks it over null

Hello, The PetGuard is designed to lock the lid from opening if the pet is around the lid sensor zone preventing your pet from getting into your trash. If your dog would topple the trash bin there is nothing you can do just like any other trash can with or without a pet lock feature. To prevent this issue, we do suggest moving the trash can to a corner or secure it to a wall using brackets and screws.
