Yes, if your USB-A devices require more power than the laptop alone can provide, you can connect a USB-C Power Delivery charger to the PD input port on the JCD391. A USB-C PD power adapter would work for this. The external charger helps provide additional power to the adapter, connected USB devices, and can also charge the laptop if supported.
