• Unfortunately not, Macs do not support MST protocol. The display output is limited to mirrored mode when connected.

• Yes, it can! The MacBook Air M2 allows up to one external display of up to 6k @ 60Hz through the USB-C/Thunderbolt port. You also have to have a Thunderbolt 4 compatible dock. It will support VGA, HDMI, DVI, and Thunderbolt 2 output supported using adapters. Check out "Tech Specs" on Apple if you need to check a device.
